Principal Responsibilities


Training Program Management:

  1. Develop and oversee the implementation of the theoretical knowledge syllabus for the Airline Transport Pilot Training Program in compliance with EASA regulations.
  2. Ensure all training materials and resources are up-to-date, comprehensive, and aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards.


Instruction and Curriculum Development:

  1. Lead the delivery of theoretical knowledge instruction, ensuring that all sessions are engaging, informative, and meet the learning objectives.
  2. Continuously review and update the curriculum to reflect changes in regulations, industry best practices, and technological advancements.
  3. Provide supervision and standardization of theoretical knowledge instruction


Regulatory Compliance:

  1. Maintain a thorough understanding of EASA regulations and ensure the training program adheres to these standards.
  2. Prepare for and participate in audits and inspections conducted by regulatory authorities.
  3. Maintain full and traceable records in line with the Competent Authority and OAA requirements.


Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  1. Implement and manage robust quality and compliance assurance to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of theoretical knowledge instruction.
  2. Collect and analyze feedback from students and instructors to identify areas for improvement.


Instructor Management:

  1. Lead the delivery of theoretical knowledge instruction, ensuring that all sessions are engaging, informative, and meet the learning objectives.
  2. Continuously review and update the curriculum to reflect changes in regulations, industry best practices, and technological advancements.
  3. Provide supervision and standardization of theoretical knowledge instruction


Student Training Management:

  1. Monitor student progress, discipline and performance, providing guidance and support to ensure their success in the program.
  2. Conduct regular progress tests with students as required by the training syllabi.
  3. Carry out student reviews for any student who fails any progress test and report feedback to the HT.
  4. Address any training or personal issues that may impact student learning and progression.


Collaboration and Communication:

  1. Work closely with other departments, including flight training and administrative staff, to ensure a cohesive and integrated training program.
  2. Communicate regularly with students, instructors, and stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns.


Continuous Improvement:

  1. Stay up to date on aviation theoretical knowledge and training methodologies.
  2. Implement innovative teaching techniques and technologies to enhance the learning experience


Other Duties:

  1. Carry out any other supplementary duties as required by the Head of Training.


Minimum Qualifications & Experience


  1. Extensive experience in aviation theoretical knowledge instruction, preferably within an EASA-approved training organization.
  2. Minimum of 3 years experience as CTKI or Deputy CTKI
  3. In-depth knowledge of EASA regulations and standards related to theoretical knowledge training.
  4. Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering training programs.
  5. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
